Our components and strong magnetic clasps are lead-free and nickel-free and each are fine silver plated. Fine silver is a higher quality of silver then sterling and will not tarnish. Our leather is approximately 10 x 6 mm and is oval shaped. We source our metal components and leather from Greece and Spain.
Our North Leather Bracelet is also available in men's brass, copper and silver, all with your choice of black or distressed brown leather.
Bracelet Sizes: Please specify the size bracelet you are ordering. If you are not sure what size you need, measure your wrist circumference. Please do not add in any length as we know how much to add in so you get a perfect-sized bracelet. Custom sizes are available at no additional cost. Please be sure to click through the pictures as it is hard to see the distressed brown leather in some of our pictures, and it can look black. We have included a separate picture showing the distressed brown leather. It looks black in some of the bracelet pictures because the brown leather has black in it, too. We absolutely love the look of this leather with the variegated coloring through it.
When wearing your women's leather bracelets, you will want to remove them for any extended water activities such as bathing or swimming. Water can corrode the magnets that we use in our clasps. In addition to this, the dye in the leather can fade or run if repeatedly worn in water. Washing your hands with your leather bracelets on is okay, but be sure to dry any water that may have splashed on them. We guarantee our jewelry for one year from the time of purchase unless the jewelry has been exposed to water repeatedly - and, yes, it is very obvious when a leather bracelet has been worn in water over and over again.
When not wearing your leather jewelry, be sure to store the pieces in a plastic bag. This will help keep them clean and tarnish free. Although our silver components are fine silver plated, they can still get dirty, but they won't tarnish. Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver so it is a higher quality of silver than sterling. Sterling silver has copper in it, and that is what makes it tarnish. If your components become dirty, they can be shined back to their original luster with a silver cleaning cloth. There are several brands on the market, but we like Connoisseur Cleaning Cloths because they are easy to find online or at your local store.
