Keep your copper from tarnishing by storing it in a plastic bag with a silica gel pack. These packets are available online and also are included in many everyday products that we buy. The packet absorbs moisture in the air which is what creates the tarnishing effect on our copper jewelry.
You can coat the parts of the copper with clear fingernail polish to keep it from "tarnishing" your skin, rather, turn your skin black or green. When you notice your skin turning color again, just reapply the polish as it will wear off over time.
