Copper has been around for over 10,000 years. It is malleable, meaning it is easy to bend and shape, and because of this, ancient men and women used it to craft decorative pieces and tools. There is a Greek island called Kúpros and the word Cypruss is a derivative of that. Kúpros means cuprous which is synonymous with copper. The folks of for well know for their fabrication of copper.
